Ode to My Commute

My featured poem in the new issue of Matter Thoughts

On August 3rd, a good friend of mine named Karina Mathew launched the first issue of her new literary magazine Horizons under her online publication Matter Thoughts. I was fortunate enough to have two of my poems featured in the issue and I wanted to share them with you all!

These two poems represent the spirituality and connection that takes place during everyday actions. Whether it's riding a bike or watching houses pass by from the car window, the mind absorbs the surroundings; it juxtaposes reality with inner feeling and creates an experience that transcends mundane behavior.

My poems,  Ode to My Commute and Decay , are featured from page 26-30

It's an honor to have my work alongside so many talented and intellectual writers. I encourage you to visit Matter Thoughts and download the free PDF issue so you can expand your horizons, too! Furthermore, I'd love to hear your thoughts about the work!
